About Thor

Thor is Manager Partner of Vaar. He is a responsible leader who is interested, curious, strategic, solution oriented with good collaboration skills, a lot of energy and high work capacity. Thor is driven by creating good and long-term results for the client, which safeguards both legal, commercial and strategic matters, while also being committed to providing advice with high professional integrity.

As Managing Partner, Thor spends a good amount of time creating a great working environment for our dedicated employees, which we in Vaar believe has a direct impact on the quality of the services we provide.

Thor is passionate about technology and innovation, and specializes in IT law, privacy and public procurement. He has extensive practical experience, good business understanding, knowledge of the IT industry and the public sector’s roles as an employer and a customer. In addition, Thor has extensive experience with negotiations and dispute resolutions with emphasis on IT.

Thor has significant expertise related to the most prevalent standard agreements in IT, including the Norwegian State’s standard agreements and the Norwegian Data Society’s standard agreements. Additionally, Thor has considerable experience with the major IT and cloud service providers’ standard agreements, including data processing agreements in accordance with the GDPR. Thor assists several international and national customers with strategic advice in technology, privacy and public procurement.

Thor has participated in the development of new IT standard agreements and regularly holds courses and seminars in his specialised fields.
