About Marianne
Marianne is one of Norway’s leading experts in public procurement and she is passionate about her profession. As a legal advisor, she ensures that her advice and assistance contribute to good and efficient processes, where the successful procurement is at the centre. She is driven by the fact that her profession offers challenging legal issues, while also being eminently practical.
Marianne works from both a legal and an operational perspective; she has extensive knowledge on assisting both contracting authorities and suppliers with the implementation and execution of procurements and tenders during the planning and competition phase. This provides her with the practical skills that are necessary to good, solution-oriented advice throughout the entire procurement process.
Marianne is eager to disseminate her knowledge and expertise, both through collaboration with contracting authorities and suppliers in specific cases, and as a lecturer. She ensures that the customers are left with more skills and knowledge after her assistance.
Marianne has extensive experience with bringing cases to trial and is a solid litigation lawyer. She is also a member of the Norwegian Complaints Board for Public Procurement, and regularly processes complaint within a wide range of procurement law issues.
Marianne’s interest in the field has led her to write several books on public procurement. The latest addition to the book collection is a commentary edition of the new procurement regulations, completed in 2020.
